The Eljay Freestyle Entertainment show is an action-packed motorcycle and bicycle trials stunt show delivered with a comical twist. Offering skilled performances choreographed to upbeat soundtracks with a good helping of Aussie humor, this isn’t your average stunt show! Fun for all ages.
Luke’s Reptile Kingdom is an interactive show for the reptile lovers in your family.
Conducting wildlife shows of a different kind, their aim is to introduce onlookers to the amazing world of reptiles while educating them about the dangers and precautions to take.
Camel Rides
Hey guess what’s at the Burdekin Show? Give the kids something to talk about! Take them for a ride on a friendly camel. Mum and Dad can join in the fun too. John Richardson Camel Rides will be providing gentle strolls throughout the day.
Lewis Gilmore – Chomper the T-Rex & More
Lewis is a fifth-generation circus performer who loves to entertain, you’ll see him and his roving dinosaurs this year at their huge 40ft x 30ft dinosaur park!
Be entertained with our new duck races. Watch these delightful ducks race for the lead and cheer on your favourite. It’s sure to be quackers!
Amusements Plus
Amusements Plus is providing unlimited sand art fun for children. Watch your little ones enjoy getting crafty as they create their own masterpieces.
Melvilles Animal Farm is well known for it’s cute and cuddly farm animals and this year’s display will be no exception.
Expect to see chicks, ducklings, guinea pigs, geese, lambs, goats, piglets and much more.
Children (and adults) can also feed the animals by purchasing a small cup of food, available on site.
Young children adore the soft and snuggly animals and feeding them offers many lovely photo opportunities.
Tired of walking? Take a ride on Timmy the Train!
Timmy can hold up to 25 passengers and is the perfect way to get around the show.
Fireworks
The top attraction of the Burdekin Show is our sensational fireworks display. Conducted by Above Ground Zero Fireworks this definitely won’t disappoint.
Starting at 7:30pm make sure you get in early for the perfect vantage point to view the sky as it turns into an explosion of colour.
Fun for all ages, don’t forget the earplugs for the young ones!
